I would like to thank the Winnebago County Republicans for inviting us to their annual Lincoln Day Dinner. Also, I would like to thank Jan Klaas for inviting Zach and myself to be her guests for the evening. As always, it was a great event to attend with some very nice speakers (Dan Proft and Patrick Hughes). This event is significant to the Illinois Conservatives because it was the first major political event we were invited to. Thanks to last year’s dinner, numerous doors have been opened for us. Before attending the 2010 event, we had only around 600 members, but now we have grown vastly into an awe-inspiring 2,959, with the numbers increasing still. Therefore, this is just one of the many reasons we really appreciated being invited and hope we are enabled to attend in the following years. Once again, thank you Jan Klass and everyone at the Winnebago County GOP for not only putting on a great event, but also inviting Zach and I to represent the Illinois Conservatives.
